Orchid exhibition unveiled｜兰花展启幕
The Tropical Orchid Exhibition of Wuhan Botanical Garden kicked off on Dec. 29, 2021. Characterized by both a broad variety of the plants and a novel way of displaying them, the exhibition has attracted many citizens to take photos.
2021年12月29日，武汉植物园热带兰展启幕。本届兰展不仅品种多，展陈方式新颖，吸引了不少市民前去打卡。

This year's orchid exhibition has brought together tens of thousands of tropical and Chinese orchids, the most special of which are the coconut and tie orchids (Bulbophyllum phalaenopsis). Both are expected to bloom from mid-January to the Spring Festival.
本届兰展共展出热带兰和国兰上万株。其中最为特别的当属咖啡兰和领带兰，预计均在1月中旬至春节开花。

This year's exhibition offers a large proportion of Chinese orchids. While many of them are used in floral landscaping, the organizer also opened a special area to exhibit the 60 pots of high-quality Chinese orchids selected by the Wuhan Chinese Orchids Association. Other highlights of the exhibition include hanging flower balls, a 3-meter-high orchid arch, and flower works that hang over the pool.
植物园今年国兰展出比例较大，不仅运用在花艺造景中，还专设有一个国兰限定展示区。展示区内，由武汉国兰协会选送的60盆精品国兰亮相。兰花展的亮点还有垂吊的花球、3米高的兰花拱门，以及水池上的悬空花艺作品。

The exhibition will last until March 31, during which a series of activities, such as a masters' art flower arrangement admiration event, will be held.
本届兰展将持续至3月31日。展览期间，武汉植物园还将举办名家艺术插花等活动。
