First baby dolphin born this year in Wuhan｜今年国内首只新生海豚降生武汉

　　Wuhan Hanchang Ocean Park welcomed the birth of a bottlenose dolphin on Jan. 10. The baby dolphin was the first newborn calf in China this year.
　　1月10日，武汉海昌极地海洋公园里出生了一只宽吻海豚。这只小海豚是2022年国内首只新生的海豚。

　　The calf is 115 centimeters long and weighs 18.7 kilograms. This healthy and smart little creature has mastered various swimming techniques and jumping postures.
　　这只新出生的小海豚体长约115厘米，体重约18.7公斤。目前，小海豚身体健康状况良好，聪明的它已经熟练掌握了各种游泳方法和跳跃姿势。
　　Bottlenose dolphins are under second-class state protection in China. They are found in tropical oceans and other warm waters around the globe. Their comparatively long snouts and shorter lower jaws together with curved mouths give the appearance of a friendly, permanent smile.
　　宽吻海豚是国家二级野生保护动物,主要分布在温带和热带的各大海洋中。宽吻海豚吻较长，嘴短小，嘴裂外形似乎总是在微笑。
