　　16th Chinese Youth Film Week held
　　第十六届华语青年电影周举行

　　The award ceremony of the 16th Chinese Youth Film Week took place in Wuhan on Jan. 9, unveiling awards including the Best New Feature Film of the Year and the Best Up-and-Coming Actor/Actress of the Year. "Hi Mom," a movie shot in Xiangyang, Hubei, was crowned as the Best New Feature Film of the Year.
　　The Chinese Youth Film Week, hosted by the China Film Association, is the only national-level film festival focusing on youth films. The event has been held in Wuhan for five times in a row since 2017.
　　9日，第十六届华语青年电影周荣誉颁发典礼在武汉举行，现场揭晓年度新锐剧情长片、年度新锐男/女演员等大奖。在湖北拍摄的《你好，李焕英》获得年度新锐剧情长片奖。
　　华语青年电影周是中国电影家协会主办的唯一国家级青年电影文化品牌电影节展，2017年以来，该活动已连续五届在武汉举办。

　　First baby dolphin born this year
　　2022国内首只海豚降生

　　Wuhan Haichang Ocean Park welcomed the birth of a bottlenose dolphin on Jan. 10. The healthy calf was the first newborn dolphin in China this year, measuring 115 centimeters in length and weighing 18.7 kilograms.
　　1月10日，武汉海昌极地海洋公园里出生了一只宽吻海豚，这是2022年国内首只新生的海豚。这只小海豚，体长约115厘米，体重约18.7公斤，健康状况良好。

　　Year of Tiger stamps now on sale

　　The launch of a set of special stamps was live-streamed by the Wuhan Municipal Postal Administration at the Yellow Crane Tower Post Office on Jan. 5, attracting many stamp collectors. The Tiger stamps on sale this year were designed by famous artist Feng Dazhong. Nineteen of the administration's post offices have begun selling the stamps.
　　1月5日，武汉邮政在黄鹤楼主题邮局举办了一场特种邮票发行直播活动，引发广大集邮爱好者关注。今年发行的“虎票”，由著名画家冯大中先生创作。武汉邮政19个营业网点已开展线下发售。

　　Winter Olympics themed animation by Wuhan college student goes viral

　　The Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022 will kick off on Feb. 4. A combined live action-animated video in the Chinese ink painting style, "Break the Cocoon" has reached 170 million views on the short-video platform of the People's Daily. One of the creators, Su Zifan, is a student from the Hubei Institute of Fine Art. Check out this video!

　　Two local landmarks selected as national industrial heritage sites
　　两处地标入选国家工业遗产名单

　　The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology recently released the fifth national industrial heritage list. Two of Wuhan's landmarks, the No. 1 blast furnace of the Wuhan Iron and Steel (Group) Corp. (WISCO) and the Qingshan Thermal Power Plant, were on the list. Wuhan now boasts three national industrial heritage sites including the Hanyang Iron Works which was listed previously.
　　The construction of the industrial park site of the WISCO No.1 blast furnace, which began last year, has almost been completed and will be open to the public after the Spring Festival.
　　日前，工信部公布了第五批国家工业遗产名单，武钢一号高炉、青山热电厂入选。加上此前入选的汉冶萍公司汉阳铁厂，武汉国家级工业遗址已增至3处。
　　武钢一号高炉去年开始建设的工业遗址公园已基本完工，春节后将对公众开放。

　　The first sleet of 2022 fell in Wuhan on Friday morning. The weather will then turn cloudy with the temperature jumping to about 10℃.
　　本周五早晨，武汉迎来2022年首次雨雪天气。此后，天气将转为多云，最高温迅速回升至10℃左右。
