State media outlets focus on Wuhan's winter sports | 武汉冰雪运动受央媒聚焦

　　Since the 8th National Public Ice and Snow Season began, winter sports in Wuhan have significantly gained in popularity and attracted the attention of several state media outlets.
　　第八届全国大众冰雪季的启动为武汉冰雪运动带来了持续的热度，吸引了央级媒体频频聚焦。

　　On the opening day of the Beijing Winter Olympics on Feb. 4, the China News Service along with 100 other Chinese media services worldwide launched a live broadcast called the "24-hour Winter Olympics." At 9:20 a.m. on that day, they focused their cameras on the Ice Sports Center of the Wuhan Sports Center where an ice hockey competition was being held on one side of the field, while 18 figure skaters were training on the other side. On the afternoon of Feb. 5, reporters from CCTV news also came onsite to report on ice and snow sports in Wuhan.
　　2月4日北京冬奥会开幕当天，中新社联合全球百家华文媒体开展“冬奥24小时”直播活动。当天上午9时20分，直播镜头聚焦武汉体育中心冰上运动中心。当时，一支冰球队正在进行对抗训练比赛，在另一半场地上，18名花滑少年在冰面训练。2月5日下午，中央电视台新闻频道的记者也来到现场报道武汉冰雪运动的现场氛围。
　　As an important part of the ice and snow season, an ice and snow carnival has provided venues and professional guidance for ice and snow sports to primary school students in the city over the past month. The carnival has now opened to all the public since Feb. 16 and will continue until the end of the month (except weekends). People can purchase tickets on the WeChat public account "武汉智慧体 育服务平台."
　　冰雪嘉年华作为全国大众冰雪季的重要部分，在开幕后为全市小学生提供了冰雪运动的场地和专业指导。2月16日，冰雪嘉年华对公众开放，并将持续至本月底（周末除外）。公众可在微信公众号“武汉智慧体育服务平台”购买公众场门票。
