70-year-old grandma becomes fashion icon | 70多岁奶奶，凭时尚收获了40万粉丝
In 2020, 70-year-old Wuhan grandma Wang Pei, using the pseudonym of "Fashion Scorpio Grandma," uploaded a video on the internet about how to create a slicked back hairdo. The video went viral with more than 600,000 likes and made Wang into an overnight celebrity. Since then, Wang has shared her ideas about fashion and style, how to perform ballet, and skin care. Now she has 400,000 subscribers on social platforms such as TikTok and Xiaohongshu (also known as Little Red Book).
2020年，70岁的武汉奶奶王沛以“爱时尚的天蝎奶奶”为名在网上发布了一条梳头视频获60万点赞，从此在网络走红。之后，“天蝎奶奶”持续分享她的时尚穿搭经验、学习的芭蕾舞、传授自己的保养方法，如今在小红书、抖音等各类社交账号上一共积累了近40万的粉丝。

Wang's videos show the image of an elegant senior who loves beauty and life. She sometimes strolls about the streets wearing a cowboy coat or performs ballet in a blue skirt, or dances to disco in a red shirt.

According to Wang, being fashionable is not necessarily a matter of being rich because beauty has nothing to do with luxury and vanity. An RMB 80 bag or a RMB 100 scarf can be delightful fashion accessories as long as they match your look and personality type.
