First Chip developer achieves quantity production | 武汉芯片企业国内率先量产5G芯片

　　Wuhan-based Elite Optronics Co., Ltd has become the first domestic chip maker to achieve commercial mass production of 25G high-speed optical communication chips.
　　日前，武汉云岭光电有限公司生产的25G高速率光通信芯片首次实现国产化，迎来了商用量产。

　　The lead-time would cost about 3 months if purchasing wafer or epitaxial wafer overseas. In comparison, it only takes one or two weeks using the critical materials and wafers developed by Elite Optronics, thereby dramatically shortening the product iteration process. It is also easier for the company to control operating costs, supply chains, and product quality.
　　在国外购买外延片或晶圆，材料交付周期就得约3个月时间，云岭光电自主研发光芯片核心材料和晶圆，一两周就可以完成，大大缩短产品迭代周期，且成本、供应链、质量更可控。
　　The company, founded four years ago, specializes in R&D, manufacturing, and marketing of detector chips and lasers for optical communications. Its 25Gb/s chips are expected to account for 30% of domestic 5G markets this year.
　　创立4年，这家企业专注于探测器芯片产品和光通信用激光器研发、制造及销售。今年，云岭光电25Gb/s芯片在国内5G市场中预计可占到30%份额。
