New Wuhan Library project launched | 武汉图书馆将建新馆
The project of the new Wuhan Library was launched on March 28. International open solicitation for the architectural design of the library started the same day.
3月28日，武汉市图书馆新馆建设项目正式启动，并面向全球征集建筑方案。

The library will be located at the Wangjiadun central business district where Changqing Road and Yuncai Road intersect. With an investment of RMB 1.8 billion, the library's floor area will be 100,000 square meters, three times the size of the current library on Jianshe Avenue. The project is expected to be finished in 2024.
武汉图书馆新馆选址王家墩中央商务区，常青路与云彩路交会处。新馆投资约18亿元，建筑规模10万平方米，为现武汉图书馆的3倍有余，预计将于2024年建成。
