'Chunsun' welcomes its 10,000th passenger | “春笋号”迎来第1万名乘客

　　Sharing-VAN "Chunsun" of Dongfeng Yuexiang, China's first 24/7 self-driving bus model, welcomed its 10,000th passenger on April 8. It has traveled on Jingkai Avenue in Chegu for 100 days since it began trial operation on Dec. 29, 2021.
　　4月8日，国内首个24小时服务的车路协同无人驾驶接驳巴士——东风悦享Sharing-VAN“春笋号”迎来第1万名幸运乘客，距离2021年12月29日正式开启试运营，“春笋号”已经在这车谷经开大道上跑了整整100天。

　　There is no driver's seat on the "Chunsun" bus, instead, a safety officer sits on the front bench seat, monitoring the trial operation. The bus would slow its speed 20 meters before any pedestrians or obstacles and then bypass them.
　　“春笋号”没有传统的驾驶座，公司安全员坐在巴士前列座椅，对本次试乘进行监测。一旦出现行人和障碍物，“春笋号”就会提前20米减速，并安全绕过。

　　"Sensors are essential for driverless vehicles to run safely," said Cao Kai, the Chief Technology Officer at the company. He added that every "Chunsun" bus is equipped with 6 LIDAR sensors, 7 cameras, 16 ultrasonic sensors and 5 millimeter-wave radar sensors.
　　“传感器是无人驾驶车安全性的重要保障。”东风悦享科技公司的首席技术官曹恺介绍，每一辆车上都安装了6颗激光雷达、7颗摄像头、16颗超声波雷达和5颗毫米波雷达。
　　Up to now, 15 pure electric "Chunsun" buses have been put into demonstrative operation, traveling between Xiaojunshan Metro Station (小军山地铁站) and Qingniancheng (青年城). Citizens may go to the designated stops to try the free shuttle service.
　　“春笋号”是纯电动车，共15辆，在小军山地铁站与车都青年城之间进行示范运营, 市民到固定的站点上车免费体验。
