　　'Discover Wuhan' shows art at local street
　　“发现武汉”秀出武汉街头的艺术


　　A dozen artists were painting in front of More Art Space on Lihuangpi Road on May 22, attracting many passersby. Organized by Xie Li, a retired art teacher, a group of oil painters would meet and practice at Li Huangpi Road every Sunday afternoon. After seeing the photos of them on "Discover Wuhan," Svetlana Vargely commented that she was into painting when she was young. Daniel Asfaw said that "I want to have the opportunity when I get to Lihuangpi Road."
　　5月22日，在武汉市江岸区黎黄陂路的墨尔艺术空间门前，10多名艺术家在街头现场写生，吸引众多市民驻足观看。这场活动由退休美术老师谢莉发起，每周日下午一群热爱艺术的油画爱好者相约在黎黄陂路街头进行写生。照片由“发现武汉”发出后，网友Светлана Варжель留言说自己年轻的时候也喜欢写生。网友Daniel Asfaw表示“希望我去黄陂路的时候也有机会体验。”

　　Following a three-month route test and trial operation, a new fleet of hydrogen buses have officially begun operation on the roads of Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone (Hannan), covering the routes of bus lines 689, 221 and 695 which connect Zhuankou, Junshanxincheng and Hannan.
　　经过3个月路线测试及试运行，新一批氢能源公交车5月23日在武汉经开区正式上线运营，覆盖689路、221路、695路等3条公交线路，将沌口、军山新城、汉南连接起来。

　　Wuhan Yangtze River Finless Porpoise Breeding and Conservation Technology Research Center was unveiled at Wuhan Baijitun Museum on May 22. An important target of the center is to bring finless porpoises back to Wuhan.
　　5月22日，“武汉长江江豚繁育保种技术研究中心”在武汉市白鱀豚馆揭牌。据了解，“江豚回归江城”为该中心工作的重要内容。
　　Dunhuang grottoes archeology special exhibition will open to the public
　　“敦煌石窟考古特展”将对公众开放


　　"Thousands of Miles and Years" — Dunhuang grottoes archeology special exhibition has attracted lots of attention since it was opened on May 18 at Wuhan University' s Wanlin Art Museum. According to the university, from June 6 to the end of August, the exhibition will open to a limited number of the public for free; visitors need to make a reservation in advance. More details about the reservation will be released on Wanlin Art Museum's (万林艺术博物馆) Wechat account one week before the opening.
　　“万里千年——敦煌石窟考古特展”自5月18日在武汉大学万林艺术博物馆开展以来受到持续关注。武汉大学拟于6月20日至8月下旬限额向社会观众免费开放预约参观。具体预约办法将提前一周在万林艺术博物馆官方公众号发布。

　　Wuhan's weather is beginning to feel like summer. Aquatic plants including water lily, canna, pontederia cordata, thalia dealbata, and lotus are all blossoming at local parks and wetlands, adding to the beauty of the season.
　　近日，武汉天气开始有了夏天的模样。公园、湿地、湖边的睡莲、美人蕉、梭鱼草、再力花、荷花等水生植物纷纷开始了花期，应着时节带来夏天的景象。
