Disabled man' s optimism for life | 高位截瘫小伙乐观面对生活
"My trip to Wuhan let me feel deeply the friendliness of the city's accessibility facilities and the high quality of the citizens," remarked 28-year-old Tan Zhiwen from Jingzhou, Hubei province. The disabled man was still emotional at the mention of his latest visit to Wuhan in mid-June.
“这次我来武汉，深深感受到这座城市无障碍设施很友好，市民素质也很高。”荆州的28岁残疾青年谭智文提及6月中旬的武汉之旅，特别感动。
A road accident caused Tan to become a paraplegic in 2013. After three years of depression, he chose to face life optimistically. He learned to sing by himself and organized a musical band with several other disabled friends. Together, they earn a living by performing. In 2019, Tan was able to invite his parents and aunt to travel to Dali, Yunnan province and cover all the expenses with his own savings. "This is one of the things that I have done that makes me feel proud of myself."
2013年，谭智文因为一次交通意外高位截瘫。消沉3年后，他选择了重新乐观的面对生活。他自学唱歌技巧，和几个残疾好朋友组成了一个歌唱团，通过演出挣钱。2019年，他用自己挣的钱带着父母和小姨到云南大理旅游，“这是最让我自豪的一件事。”

Tan has also taught himself how to shoot and edit short video clips. By sharing his life stories online, he has encouraged other handicapped people to embrace life with a smiling face. He has accumulated 418 short video clips and over 200,000 fans.
谭智文自学短视频拍摄剪辑，并通过短视频平台分享自己的人生故事，鼓励更多残疾人勇敢走出家门，微笑着拥抱生活。如今，他累计拍摄短视频418个，收获粉丝20多万。
His latest journey to Wuhan was the result of an appointment with a 32-year-old man surnamed Jiang from Xiamen, Fujian province. Jiang was consumed by depression for more than a year following an injury due to a fall. After talking with Tan, Jiang has become more and more optimistic.
这次来汉旅游，他和32岁厦门小伙小姜相约一起。“小姜是高坠受伤的，一年多一直不愿走出来。”在谭智文的开导下，小姜变得开朗多了。
The two men toured the Yellow Crane Tower, Hubu Alley, riverside parks, and the East Lake Greenway. They also ate various local snacks. Wherever they went, be it a metro station or a ferry boat, there were always people kindly asking if they needed any help. Those were the most touching and memorable moments for Tan.
两人游览了黄鹤楼、户部巷、江滩、东湖绿道，还品尝本地小吃。让谭智文颇为感动的是，无论是地铁站还是坐轮渡，总是会有好心人过来问要不要帮助。
Tan has been to more than 20 cities in China and has obtained a driver's license for disabled persons. Driving a specially retrofitted car, he is able to go to more places and to meet more disabled people. "It's good to enjoy every day. It's good to be living today," said Tan.
如今，谭智文已去过全国20多个城市。他还考取了残疾人驾照，驾驶改装后的专用车辆到户外旅行，并结识了很多残疾人朋友。他说，“过好每一天，能活在当下就好。”
