First postage stamp on 'protecting Yangtze finless porpoise' issued | 全国首枚《保护长江江豚》邮资票品发行

　　Wuhan made a new move to protect the Yangtze finless porpoise on Sept. 9 by issuing a set of regular stamped postcards entitled "Protecting the Yangtze Finless Porpoise," with 308,000 such postcards released for sale. Featuring a finless porpoise family of a mother, father and child, this will be the first postage stamp with such a theme.
　　9月9日，武汉保护长江江豚又有新动作：当天发行《保护长江江豚》普通邮资明信片，发行量30.8万枚，江豚一家三口登上普通邮资明信片，这将是全国首枚专门以保护长江江豚为主题的邮资票品。

　　The issuing ceremony was held at the Baijitun Museum of the Institute of Hydrology, Chinese Academy of Sciences.

　　Since 2020, the Yangtze finless porpoise has been spotted more than 20 times in the Wuhan section of the Yangtze River. Wang Kexiong, a researcher at the institute, said that since late October 2020, they have carried out scientific investigations of the porpoise in the Wuhan section. The results show that the Baishazhou area is forming into a stable habitat for the porpoise population.
　　2020年至今，长江江豚在武汉城区江段出现超20余次。 中科院水生所研究员王克雄介绍，2020年10月下旬以来，他们在长江武汉段开展长江江豚科学考察，结果显示，武汉白沙洲正形成稳定的长江江豚群体栖息水域。
