Winter and summer birds captured in same picture | 冬候鸟与夏候鸟在武汉早秋罕见同框

　　Over the past few days, hundreds of great cormorants have arrived at the Chenhu Wetland to spend the winter there, nearly a month earlier than in normal years. This has resulted in summer birds such as herons and Chinese egrets being together with these winter birds there. Wei Bin, the vice president of the Wuhan Bird Watching Society, has captured this precious moment.
　　连日来，在武汉沉湖国际重要湿地，上百只普通鸬鹚提前近一个月来汉过冬，与留置在当地的苍鹭、中白鹭等夏候鸟一起栖息、觅食，享受江城秋意。武汉市观鸟协会副会长魏斌第一时间抓拍到了这张同框照。

　　Wei said that due to the continuous drought this year, Chenhu Lake, which has abundant water resources, has become the best choice for migratory birds. Some summer birds will stay in the same place for a longer time if their fledglings have not yet possessed the ability to fly long distance. These factors might explain the meeting of the winter and summer birds.
　　他说，由于今年持续干旱，沉湖水量丰富的沉湖，自然成为冬候鸟的不二选择。部分夏候鸟，它们的幼鸟若还不具备飞行能力，家族就会集群原地滞留更长时间。这些是冬候鸟今年能与夏候鸟相遇的原因。
