Wuhan moves up in GII ranking | 武汉全球创新指数排名上升

　　The recent release of the 2022 edition of World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO)'s Global Innovation Index (GII) shows that China has 21 top science and technology clusters, ranking first on a par with the United States for the first time. These clusters have thus become the fastest growing in the world.
　　由世界知识产权组织提前发布的2022版全球创新指数部分内容显示，中国拥有21个顶级城市科技集群，首次与美国并列第一。中国城市集群成为全球范围内上升最快的集群。

　　Compared with 2021, Wuhan has moved up nine places in the GII ranking, from 25th to 16th, continuing a significant increase for Wuhan over the five consecutive years since 2018.
　　与2021年相比，武汉上升了9位，由第25位升至第16位，这也是武汉自2018年以来连续5年大幅上升。
　　WIPO is a subsidiary of the United Nations. Since 2007, it has released annually the GII report, where the innovation capabilities of over 130 countries and economies are ranked. The report is considered an indicator of global economic innovation and creation, and is used as an important reference for economic decision-making by many countries.
　　世界知识产权组织是联合国下属组织，从2007年起发布《全球创新指数报告》，全球创新指数每年对全球130多个国家和经济体的创新能力进行排名，该报告被认为是全球经济创新创造的风向标，也是各国经济决策的重要参考。
