From the first day to the tenth day during the Spring Festival, every sanitation worker who entered the Niubazi Noodles Restaurant in Wusheng West Street, Qiaokou District was served with a bowl of noodles for free. This is the way that Yi Wenjing, the shop owner, pays tribute to sanitation workers.

Cai Jinyu, a 60-year-old from Yangxin, Hubei province, has been working as a sanitation worker in Wuhan for three years. She said that during the Spring Festival holiday many breakfast shops on the roadside were closed, while the Niubazi Noodles Restaurant, instead of raising food prices, provided free meals for sanitation workers. "After having this bowl of noodles, I feel very warm in my heart," she said.
Since 2020, Yi has been following the tradition, entertaining sanitation workers with free meals. This year, her shop served more than 60 bowls of free noodles every day.
At present Yi's restaurant has 17 franchise stores. Next year, she wants to extend this loving offer in all the stores, in a desire to pass on the warmth of the city.
