Wuhan Zoo's new Oceania Animal Zone | 武汉动物园新建大洋洲动物展区落成

　　Want to see a wild animal villa? Wuhan Zoo announced on June 29 that the first of its seven themed zones, the Oceania Animal Zone, has been completed. Kangaroos now have a sandy beach all to themselves and cassowaries have their own swimming pool!
　　野生动物们住的豪宅长啥样？6月29日，正在升级改造的武汉动物园宣布落成首个主题展区——大洋洲动物展区。在这里，袋鼠的“豪宅”有沙滩，鹤鸵的“豪宅”还自带泳池！


　　Newly built Oceania Animal Zone
　　The design was inspired by the natural scenery of the animals' habitats. There are unique red rocks and wild pathways sealed by clusters of thick miscanthus. The zone presents a primitive and vibrant ecological environment. Walking along the aerial boardwalks, visitors can enjoy the natural scenery while leaving the animals undisturbed.
　　大洋洲区的设计灵感取自于动物栖息地的自然风光，配备当地独具特色的红色巨岩和芒草丛生的荒野小径，展现出一幅原始神秘又生机勃勃的生态画卷。游客可在园区内的空中栈桥行走，能无障碍观赏自然生态景观。
　　The Wuhan Zoo is projected to reopen next year.
　　武汉动物园预计在明年开园。
