The East Lake High-tech Development Zone held its third university student recruitment fair this year at the Optics Valley International Talent Hub on March 9. At the same time at the site, the activity "Millions of College Students Getting to Know Optics Valley" was launched.
At the job fair, 66 enterprises from the Optics Valley, including Racus Fiber Laser, Ediagnosis (Wuhan Easy Diagnosis Biomedicine Co., Ltd.), Wuhan Engineering Co., Ltd, and Jidu Automobile, offered as many as 1,540 vacancies, the highest paying with an annual salary of RMB 500,000. The event attracted nearly 1,000 college graduates and a large number of other job seekers.

The first phase of "Millions of College Students Getting to Know Optics Valley" invited 25 distinguished students with master's and doctorate degrees from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) to visit the Zhiyu Future Talent Community, HGTECH, as well as the exhibition hall of East Lake Science City.

"It's cool to be engaged in lasers!" stated Zheng Chenxu, a graduate student with the School of Optical and Electronic Information of HUST, on his first visit to HGTECH. Jointly trained by HUST and HGTECH, he is expected to finish his internship there in the near future as a Master of Engineering.
In 2023, the East Lake High-tech Development Zone will invite 500 college students and college counselors from across the nation to visit Optics Valley and plans to attract more than 100,000 college students to work in or start up businesses there.
